Transport accessibility

Sea port

Located in 10 km from the sea port of St.Petersburg, Modul Pulkovsky offers quick transportation to/from the sea-gate of the North-Western Federal District of Russia.

Railway station

Operation of the terminal is maintained by the railway station “Predportovaja” owing to trip working of inward and outward container trains 20’ and 40’ containers and as well as to receiving and sending the all-purpose rolling stock with general cargo (open-top wagons, covered wagons e t.c.)

High road

Modul Pulkovsky has a vivid advantage of easy reach. The main approach road - the 7th Predportovy drive - links the Terminal to Pulkovskoe shosse - the main traffic artery of St.Petersburg and ensures prompt approach to the sea port infrastructure as well as unhindered access to the main regional roads and aircargo terminals.

Railway loading area

two railway loading facilities with overall area of 4 500 m2 were constructed to load/unload wagons and containers. 7 own railway tracks allow to handle up to 2 container trains at a time. Own shunting locomotives TEM2M and TGM4A are in operation at the complex to sort items of rolling stock into complete train sets or the reverse.

MODUL Terminal and Logistics Complex is equipped with the following vehicles which allow handling all types of cargoes.

Special lifting trucks to load empty 20’ and 40’ containers up to 9 stacks (4 units)

All the handling equipment has a complete set of hydraulic appliances, which helps to handle all types of unitized, heavy-lift and out-of-gauge cargoes. Special system Joloda is used to pack cargoes up to 28 tons into containers without forklift trucks at one scoop. The lifting jacks, hydraulic system and a roll-trailer is managed by several workers.

Activity types

Handling operations are managed at the rail tracks and at truck area simultaneously. The specialized area at the territory of the complex is equipped with a cabling system to connect and store up to 120 temperature-controlled containers at a time. There is also a possibility for interime storage of refrigerated cargoes and further rail transportation with refrigerated container trains or by truck.

Container repair depot MODUL

MODUL provides repair works and tests of containers of any complexity. The rapairs are carried out at the specialized area with capacity of more than 100 containers per day.

Modul Terminal Recognition Certificate for container repairs №09.00127.120 from Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS).

All the operations are carried out by our skilled personnel. Only certified spare parts and materials are used to ensure full conformity with international standarts.

Examination, fault detection, complex maintenance, testing of damaged containers of any complexity.
Reefer unit testing and maintenance (PTI)
Full range of services for tank-containers:
1. Survey of tank-containers in Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS).
2. Tank-container Cleaning and Heating: Mechanical cleaning of inside and outside surfaces of a tank-container from solid cargo residues; Removal of dangerous cargo residues, decontamination and degasification; Tank cleaning with necessary reagents; Cleaning Certificate; Heating of cargo up to the necessary temperature.
