Tank-container operations
Handling tank-containers is one of the key activities of the MODUL Company. In addition to unique position to carry out transport operations with tank-containers, MODUL Company offers services for tank owners and operators in maintenance, cleaning and survey of tank-containers.
Our advantages:

- Receiving and sending tank-containers with dangerous goods at and from the MODUL Terminal;
- MODUL Company has got approved special conditions to deliver any type of cargo in tank-containers with Russian Railways.

Tank-container servicing: installation of spraying device, cleaning with chemical agents, drying, discharging into stills (the process is organised in accordance with the environmental policy of the company), overhaul and repair of pressure relief valve with Fort Vale expendables.
Services in maintenance, cleaning and survey of tank-containers
All the operations are carried out at our own MODUL Terminal Facility in St.Petersburg (the 7th Predportovy drive 2, build.2).
Our skilled personnel are accordingly trained.
Only certified details and equipment are used for repair.
We provide tank-container Cleaning services, which include:
- Mechanical cleaning of inside and outside surfaces of a tank-container from solid cargo residues;
- Removal of dangerous cargo residues, decontamination and degasification;
- Tank cleaning with necessary reagents.
We offer services in maintenance and repair of tank-containers of any complexity from simplified to full:
- Outside repair of tank-containers
- Periodic leakage and pressure tests
- Tank wall polishing
- Wall thickness measurement
- Repairs of stop and pressure relief valves (only genuine materials FortVale are used)
- The repairs are carried out at the specialized area with capacity of 100 containers per day.
MODUL Company arranges survey of tank-containers at the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and at the Bureau Veritas. Regular survey is a mandatory condition to use tank-containers at the territory of the Russian Federation.
Upon completion of cleaning, repair and survey of tank-containers the following documents are provided:
- Work completion photo report
- Tamper-evident sealing
- Tank survey certificate
- Certificate of Conformity to the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping
- Certificate of Cleanliness (bilingual)
- Periodic leakage and pressure test certification from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping or Bureau Veritas (in case the tests were performed)

Personal data owner or its representative may withdraw consent by written declaration to Modul Co.Ltd. or its representative sent at the above mentioned address.
Should personal data be withdrawn by data owner or its representative, Modul Co.Ltd is entitled to continue data processing without written consent if there are grounds specified in Par.1.2-11 of Article 6, Par.2 of Article 10 and Par.2 of Article 11 of the Federal Law from 27.07.2006 Nr. 152-F3 on Personal Data.
This consent shall be valid till the moment when all personal data processing procedures are terminated.
