On April 23, MODUL sent the first transit container block train from the port of Vostochny (VSK terminal) to Novorossiysk (NUTEP terminal) as part of its new intermodal freight service АЕ77.

   Containers loaded with equipment, tires, polyethylene, and other cargoes arrived at Vostochny Port onboard Maersk vessels  from Korea and Japan, and upon arrival to Novorossiysk they will resume by sea to various ports of the Black Sea and the East Mediterranean.

  The main advantage of the new service is fast transit: the end-to-end transit time between the main destinations of АE77 makes 25-30 days, where rail transit takes 12 days.

  Transportation on the AE77 service is covered with Maersk through Bill of Lading, the transportation data is published at the Tradelens blockchain platform.

   It is planned that the train will run on the weekly basis.
