In the run-up to 2018 editors of the popular Saint-Petersburg online-newspaper Fontanka.ru announced a competition to create the most peculiar and distinguished Office New Year tree.

 A variety of entrants joined this competition, not only private entrepreneurs, but also members of major companies such as Rosatom, Panasonic, workers of shipyards and state institutions.

 Creative and very talented members of our team also submitted their photos of the beautiful and fabulous New Year trees made with their children to decorate the MODUL headquarters in Saint-Petersburg Plaza Business Center. Feathers, disposable tableware, paper tissues, foamed plastic, toothpicks and toy swords – in one’s capable hands all these objects can change into amazing New Year trees and excellent office décor.

 One of these trees reached the final TOP-5 open voting.

 For three days Fontanka.ru readers were choosing the winner, but the leader - Macaroni Tree from MODUL - was set quite soon.

 Practically one half of 1000 voters supported the New Year tree, made from macaroni by Oksana Mironenko and her twelve-year-old daughter.
