At Terminal and Logistics Complex Modul Yuzhny a new tank-container cleaning and repair depot is set in operation.

   The depot structure includes washing and steam cleaning station, where our specialists provide mechanical cleaning of inside and outside surfaces of tank-containers from solid cargo residues, removal of dangerous cargo residues, decontamination and degasification, steam cleaning, and tank cleaning with necessary reagents. Repair of tank-containers involves services of any complexity from simplified to full – outside repair, periodic leakage and pressure tests, tank wall polishing, repairs of stop and pressure relief valves, preparation for periodic  survey and expert certification from RMRS, Bureau Veritas and DNV GL.

  Location of this depot at the territory of TLC Modul Yuzhny with well-developed infrastructure – railway siding with platform for loading/unloading, convenient access from roads, specialized vehicles for handling operations, capacious container yard -  enables Modul to deliver services of warehousing as well as the full spectrum of terminal services to tank-container operators and owners.

   “Actually our tank-container service depot at TLC Yuzhny duplicates the infrastructure, which for several years has been in successful operation at our terminal Modul Pulkovsky. Due to increased volumes of work and significant workload of the Predportovaya railway station we have decided to open one more depot and to provide our customers with high service eliminating any possibility for them to lose either in quality or in time. Both depots lie equidistant from the Sea Port of Saint Petersburg and offer full range of tank-container services on a single rate basis within integrated quality control system,” – says Julia Nekrasova the head of tank-container section at Modul.
