MODUL Transport and Forwarding Company has established its representative office in Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic. It will enable to provide the NCFD with modern, advanced and reliable service of cargo transportation, storage and forwarding.
Early in May MODUL delivered its first cargo to the Chechen Republic from Tolyatti to Argun. To transport transformers manufactured by JSC «Tolyattinsky Transformator» MODUL employed two depressed-center railcars with bearing capacity of 62 tonnes; spare parts and accessories for primary equipment were delivered by rail with three multipurpose flatcars. Additionally MODUL owned trucks brought 78 drums of transformer oil by road. The equipment is destined for the electrical substation «Kurchaloy» being built as a part of the Groznensky Thermal Power Plant, which is vitally important for the Chechen Republic.
Construction of the Groznensky Thermal Power Plant is by all means a history-making event for the Republic, and MODUL expresses its gratitude to its new partners for the their confidence and possibility to become a part of this project.
