The multifunctional Terminal and Logistics Complex MODUL Yuzhnyi will be put into operation starting from the 1 of July. It is located in 12 km from the Sea Port of St.Petersburg in proximity to railway stations Shushary and Kupchinskaya, and to main roads of the city.
The terminal and logistics complex of 15,6 ha in area formerly owned by the Eurosib group of companies, includes a container yard, a non-heated warehouse with area of 9 446 sq.m., a heated warehouse of Class A with area of 20 386 sq.m., an office complex and internal railway tracks with total length of 3,1 km. TLC is equipped with high-capacity equipment, machinery, software satisfying modern global requirements to transport & warehousing logistics. Furthermore the terminal will be fitted with all the needed equipped for VGM weight control.
Start-up of the Terminal and Logistics Complex MODUL Yuzhnyi will substantially diversify the range of the services provided by the company. The unique location and outfit of the TLC offer a host of functions to import and export freight owners, who operate high-value cargoes requiring safe storage at a modern warehouse complex.
TLC MODUL Yuzhnyi will be added to the existing operated terminal TLC MODUL Pulkovsky. This will ensure optimal allocation of freight traffic volumes of the company depending on their destination, and will help to implement new processing charts, which will contribute to substantial cost savings on transportation.
